Robert Webber's name didn't ring a bell to me until I matched up with a face. Many of you will remember him as the general who was opposed to Lee Marvin's plan in The Dirty Dozen. Some might remember him as Cybill Shephard's dad on Moonlighting, or as Juror #12 in 12 Angry Men. He died fron Lou Gehrig's Disease at the age of 64.
Of course everyone knows Roger Moore as the 3rd actor to play James Bond in Eon Productions' series of movies, after portraying Beau Maverick, Simon Templar on The Saint, and along with Tony Curtis on Persuaders. He became a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF in 1991, for which he still devotes a lot of his time, and in 2003 he knighted for his charitable work.

Lillian Gish (1893-1993) had a career that spanned 75 years, from her introduction to director D.W. Griffith in 1912 to her last film The Whales of August in 1987. She starred in many short film for Griffith, as well as the features Birth of a Nation, and Intolerence. She signed with MGM, but was released after the failure of the film The Wind, which many film historian claim is one of her finest performances. She received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in Duel in the Sun, and gave a critically acclaimed performance in Night of the Hunter. While on the set of The Unforgiven, Diresctor John Huston and Burt Lancaster tried to teach Ms. Gish to shoot, only to find she was a better shot than they were, as she had been taught years before by A.J. Jennings, who was an outlaw and gunfighter who got into movies after a stint in prison.
