Charles Middleton is best remembered as Ming the Merciless from the Flash Gordon serials, but he was a stage actor before moving into films at the age of 46. He played in lots of movies and serials, including Duck Soup, Hop-Along Cassidy, Show Boat (1936), Jesse James, and Dick Tracey Returns.
I first heard of Henry Hull as The Werewolf of London. Later I'd seen him in Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat. I thought he was British, but he was born in Louisville, Kentucky! Another fine character actor who played in various genres.
Larry Ward played Marshal Frank Ragan in the TV series The Dakotas in 1963, as well as episodes of various other TV shows, including The Outer Limits, Lost In Space, Bonanza, The Virginian, an MASH.

Madlyn Rhue (1935-2003) guest starred with Ricardo Montalban on the Star Trek episode The Space Seed, and in the Bonanza episode The Reckoning. She appeared in the movies Operation Petticoat and It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and on TV in Have Gun Will Travel, The Untouchables, The Man from UNCLE, and Mission:Impossible. In 1977, she was diagnose with multiple sclerosis, and though she was bound to a wheelchair, continued acting into the late 1990s.
