Howdy Manco!!

Frank DeVol was involved in more than one aspect of the film industry. He was a composer, who worked on the music for Kiss Me Deadly, McClintock, The Dirty Dozen, Hush Hush, Sweet Charlotte, Cat Ballou, The Flight Of The Phoenix along with many t.v. series, like McCloud, The Fess Parker Show, The Brady Bunch and many more. He was also a character actor, who appeared in both t.v. and movies from 1952-1990, including, My Favorite Martian, I'm Dickens, He's Fenster, The Farmer's Daughter, Bonanza, The Frisco Kid, The Brady Bunch ect. While working as a composer and actor, he also conducted the orchestra and arranged music for many t.v. shows, like My Three Sons, The Dinah Shore Show, The Big Knife, Pot O Gold, The World For Ransom and dozens of others. This guy was involved in the film industry, in one way or the other, from the early 50's into the 21st century.

Jeff Morris began his career as a character actor in 1958. During his career, he appeared with Elvis Presley, Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson and many other box office stars. He had roles in, Kid Galahad, The Blues Brothers, Kelly's Heroes, The Gauntlet, Anger Management, along with many appearances on t.v., like Tales Of Wells Fargo, Death Valley Days, Ironside and Barbary Coast among others. He is probably remembered best as "Bob", the owner of Bob's Country Bunker, in the film, The Blues Brothers.

The beautiful Karen Sharpe began her career in the 1952 film, The Sniper. She also appeared opposite Robert Mitchum in Man With The Gun, The Disorderly Orderly, Tarawa Beachhead, but most of her film career was in t.v., on shows like, Death Valley Days, The Texan, Laramie, Rough Riders, Yancy Derringer etc. She is best remembered for her co-starring role on the 50's t.v. series, Johnny Ringo. She retired from acting in 1967. One of her last appearances, was in an episode of The Wild Wild West.

Also today:

Kermit Maynard (1897-1971) was the younger brother of another cowboy actor, Ken Maynard. He was a lineman in college for the University of Indiana before becoming a stuntman and actor, appearing in a passel of movies and TV shows between 1927 and 1962. His film credits include The Night Riders, Billy the Kid (1941), and Western Cyclone, and he appeared in episodes of The Lone Ranger, The Texan, Sugarfoot, Death Valley Days, Tales of Wells Fargo, and Gunsmoke.

Frank DeVol also had TV time as the band leader Happy Kyne on a '70's comedy series America 2-Night with Martin Mull.

I didn't realize that the reason Karen Sharpe retired was to raise a family. I also didn't realize that her husband was Stanley Kramer and that she spends her time keeping his name alive.
