Howdy Pards!!
Paul Fix will always be remembered best as Micah Torrance, the Marshall on the long running t.v. series, The Rifleman with Chuck Connors, but he also appeared in over 20 of John Wayne's early films and also appeared in The Sons Of Katie Elder, To Kill A Mocking Bird and Pat Garrett And Billy The Kid, along with more westerns that you can shake a stick at. He was the original" Bones" in the pilot for the Star Trek series, but was replaced by DeForest Kelly. He played Indians, detectives, Sheriffs, Marshalls, you name it, he played it.
Frank Wilcox was another excellent supporting actor from the 50's and 60's. He appeared in The Greatest Show On Earth and The Ten Commandments. I remember him best from his many t.v. roles as Senators, Judges etc. He almost always appeared as some sort of dignitary.
Hugh Sanders was another good supporting actor from the 50's and 60's. His resume goes all the way back to the original Lone Ranger and Highway Patrol with Broderrick Crawford. He appeared in Montana Territory, Warlock and even in Harum Scarum with Elvis Presley.
The late, great Peter Breck, who just passed away a few weeks ago. The beloved star of both Black Saddle as Clay Culhane and The Big Valley as Nick Barkley. I am still saddened by his loss, when I see his name.
The beautiful Dana Delaney!!!!! I guess I 1st saw her on the t.v. series China Beach. She has appeared in Tombstone and in my favorite role in the film True Women with Angelina Jolie. She has also appeared in the t.v. series Desperate Housewives. This woman has the most mischievious eyes, I have ever seen!!!! They simply sparkle with some hidden humor!!!!
