| Howdy Manco!!
It's strange, how we associate actors with certain roles they played during their career. When I think of Charles Bickford, I always think of his taking over the role of Grainger on The Virginian, after Lee.J.Cobb left to pursue his movie career. Dana Andrews always brings to mind, the classic Ox Bow Incident and his role as the wrongfully hanged man which starred Henry Fonda and Harry Morgan. Andrews was also the brother of Steve Forrest, who played Mannon in a Gunsmoke episode as well as a made for t.v. movie. Ty Hardin will always be Bronco Lane, one of the 2 series that was created to replace Cheyenne, when Clint Walker had contract issues with Warner Bros. The other was Sugarfoot with Will Hutchins. Happy Birthday fellas!!!!

| Happy New Year Chain Lightning - I agree, sometimes the association is not even a film or TV series they are famous for, it's just a role that struck you when watching them that you always remember. I was never a big fan of Charles Bickford but I liked him in The Virginian and he fit the role very well. I think I liked John McIntire the best as the owner of Shiloh. | |

| I have gotten to really like Dana Andrews. He is a great actor in all Genre he has been in. I like him in mysteries as much I did westerns. I think he was in some gangster movies as well. Happy Birthday to all three........ | |
