| Howdy Manco!!
Sam Flint got his start in film in 1933 and appeared in 100 films before WW II broke out. He appeared in approx 250 films, before he ever thought about appearing on t.v. In all, he appeared in almost 300 films during his career, although many of them were uncredited. He appeared with John Wayne in Winds Of The Wasteland and Roy Rogers in My Pal Trigger. He also appeared in some big name films, such as Gilda, Carbine Williams and Psycho. In the early 50's, he began to appear on many of the ole t.v. shows like, The Adventures Of Champion, The Adventures Of Wild Bill Hickock. The Life And Legend Of Wyatt Earp, all the way through the 60's, with an appearance on Peter Gunn. This fella must have just walked from one movie stage to the other, in order to have appeared in so many films in basically 20 years. Sam finally retired in 1968. I guess he got tired of wearing out his shoes, walking from one movie set to the other.
Alex Montoya is another actor, who began his career back in 1938 and appeared in over 70 films during his career, including The Big Sombrero. Viva Zapata, The Kissing Bandit,Macao, The Magnificent Seven, The original Flight Of The Phoenix and The Appaloosa, before beginnng another career on t.v. during the 50's and 60's. He appeared on many of the old 50's and 60's western t.v. series like Bonanza, The Virginian and The High Chaparral and many others, before retiring in 1969.

P.S.
You will need to pull up pictures of both these character actors on Google, in order to recall their faces.

| Also today:
Robert Reed (1932-1992) guest starred in many TV shows, including Lawman, Bronco, Hondo, and had a recurring role as a police detective on Mannix. He also starred as Kenneth Preston on The Defenders, and the role he's most famous for, Mike Brady on The Brady Bunch. He was never happy with The Brady Bunch, yet he went on the repeat the role on The Brady Bunch Variety Show, The Brady Girls Get Married, and The Bradys. he also continued to appear in TV shows and TV movies until his death. He was a closeted homosexual, keeping the secret from most of his friends and family, and contracted HIV. However, he did not die from AIDS, but from colon cancer and lymphoma.
